Since the early '90s
It started with Jim.
Over thirty years ago, Jim Montgomery opened a practice on a simple promise: give people straight answers and treat them like neighbors.
That promise stuck. Clients sent their kids; those kids sent theirs. Today Kyle carries it forward alongside Stephen Peyton, CPA — same values, same relaxed style, a lot more tax law.

Jim's son Kyle joins as an Enrolled Agent, federally licensed to go head-to-head with the IRS.

Kyle joined his father's practice in 2007 and has spent nearly twenty years helping Collin County folks tackle their taxes without the headache. As an Enrolled Agent, he's federally licensed to represent clients directly before the IRS.
Straight answers, relaxed style, genuinely cares about the person in his chair. The guy you want in your corner when the IRS comes knocking.

Stephen leads bookkeeping and business consulting — helping owners build organized systems and make confident decisions, in a style that's practical, understandable and human.
